Our affiliations with All Stars and Erith Town FC continue to strengthen and members of our Year 6 boys' and girls' football teams were invited to Erith Town's ground to watch them play against Canterbury on Saturday 1st February.

Following our parent phonic workshop for our Year 1 pupils, please click below to access the resources shared including the parent powerpoint, speed-sound chart, pseudo (alien) words and phoneme/grapheme correspondence cards.  Should you have any questions about the use of these resources please speak to Mrs Garlick or Mrs Harry.

Also don't forget to view our phonic videos created by Mrs Garlick and Mrs Duff.  The videos can be found under the 'Phonics' tab within the 'Teaching and Learning' area of the website and demonstrate the pronunciation of each phoneme within Phase 2, 3 and 5.

A key role given to our Belmont Parliament children is to raise money for chosen charities.  Each term they work together to research and identify a charity to fundraise for collaborating with the school community to ensure each fundraising event it a success.

Our class sharing assemblies are scheduled to begin in spring term and will run every Friday throughout spring and summer term.  The assemblies are an opportunity for the children to share their learning with parents/families and for our families to find out what the children have been learning about in spring/summer term.

The assemblies will start promptly at 9:10am and entry to the main hall will be via the staff car park.

We know that the assemblies are an enjoyable experience for all and we look forward to welcoming our parents/families over the coming months.
