The children have enjoyed 'breaking the rules' today with lots of fun outfits, hairstyles and tattoos! Thank you to our PTA and to all of our families for your generous donations! The PTA will be in touch after half term with the total amount raised.
Our PTA are 'raisin' funds and hope to get you all involved!
We thought it would be a 'grape' idea to give the children a healthy treat and ask them to complete some simple challenges or jobs for friends and family in return for some money to fill up their empty raisin box.
Pleae return your raisin box to your class teacher by Wednesday 9th November. Please don't forget to write your class name on your box as the class who raises the most wins a treat.
PLease don't worry about how much goes into the box, every little helps no matter how big or small. Good luck!
We are delighted to welcome staff and pupils from Townley Grammar today. To conclude our Healthy Heart topic in Year 6, they have come to bring alive the circulatory system in the human body and to do a live dissection of a heart!
Today we supported ‘Show Racism the Red Card’ at Belmont and we asked that the children wore something red to support the country’s leading anti-racism charity. Last term we continued our commitment to EDI – equality, diversity and inclusion – by hosting our own anti-racism workshops for pupils and staff. We have chosen to support Show Racism the Red Card (SRtRC) which is the UK’s leading anti-racism educational charity. The children all looked fantasic and we are looking forward to counting up your contributions. Thank you for your continued support!
