As part of their topic: ‘Earth and Space’ Year 5 have been learning all about our solar system. They had a fantastic trip to the Planetarium and Maritime Museum in Greenwich last week. It was quite an eventful day...
Alongside lots of learning they had a fire alarm drill (!) and a VERY steep walk up the hill - it was quite a workout!
They were so lucky with the weather that they took this beautiful photo of their view at the top. They were also allowed to touch a meteorite which is 4.5 billion years old - wow! At the Maritime Museum they visited the Astronomy Photographer of the Year Exhibition which they also really enjoyed. We are looking forward to hearing all about it this week!
