On Thursday 5th December we welcomed a number of the residents from Heathfield Residential Home for a morning of mince pies and festivities.

The residents were entertained by each year group and our KS1 and KS2 choirs led by Andrew Critchon from Bird College.  The pupils sang a range of songs including Silent Night, Let it Be Christmas and Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree with many of the residents joining in.  Our Parliament pupils catered to the needs of our visitors offering them tea and refreshments and we were as we always are, extremely proud of all of our pupils.

An enjoyable morning was had by all and the residents left with a smile and the left over mince pies to enjoy with a cup of tea!

14th May 2020 UPDATE:

Dear Parents/Carers,

Following recent developments shared by the government we would like to assure you that we are in the process of digesting the guidance and planning a safe return for some pupils.

We understand that you are no doubt feeling anxious about your child possibly returning to school and the safety of pupils, staff and our families remains paramount to us and central to the planning process.  Full consideration will be given to all aspects of reopening and being COVID-19 secure and we hope that you will be confident with the decisions that are made.

We will communicate with you before the May half term the school's plan for a partial phased reopening.
